Four, including custom work. Profit from Legal™ gives growth-stage companies a fractional Chief Legal Officer on an annual subscription. Rise Above™ is one-on-one resilient leadership coaching for leaders recovering from a setback, or preparing for one. We also take on individual business legal projects on request; ask for a quote. Finally, we offer consulting at the intersection of law and leadership that empowers you to reach your biggest goals.
What is a fractional Chief Legal Officer?
A senior lawyer who serves as your company’s legal executive part time, for a fraction of the cost of a full-time general counsel. With Profit from Legal™, you get a dedicated Chief Legal Officer with priority access. Every six weeks you choose one area (contracts, intellectual property, compliance, data privacy, employment, dispute prevention or expansion) and we spend those six weeks building legal assets in it. What legal services do you provide?

What is Rise Above™ resilient leadership coaching?
Coaching that helps a leader rebuild, or build before he needs it, the capacity to lead under pressure. Rise Above™ runs one-on-one for 90 days and works on resilience, competence, confidence and trust. Afterwards, clients can continue month to month or join a group coaching cohort for ongoing support. What fees do you charge?
Profit from Legal™ is an annual subscription. Rise Above™ coaching carries a quarterly fee. Individual legal projects are quoted case by case. Book a free consultation and we’ll give you a quote.

What’s Noel’s background?
• B.A. in Philosophy, Austin Peay State University (2006); J.D., Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (2011).
• Economic Analysis of Law Scholar of Merit award (2010), for top marks in that subject.
• One year (of three) toward a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2006–07).
• Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner.
• Certified Catechist, Roman Catholic Diocese of Nashville (2016).
What awards has Noel received?
The Tennessee Supreme Court’s Attorney for Justice award, many times, most recently in 2026.
In 2019, a certificate from the Clarksville Mayor’s Office recognizing his “servant leadership, ongoing sacrifice, and commitment to collaboration and inclusion within our small business community.”
Under his leadership, the firm has been nominated in several years for the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethical Commerce.
In what service initiatives has Noel taken part?
He serves pro bono as General Counsel for Catholic Men of America.
For seven and a half years he taught, pro bono, the legal component of the Boots to Business veteran entrepreneurship course at Fort Campbell, KY.
He has served on the Nashville Bar Journal’s Editorial Committee and its Continuing Legal Education committee, and as the National Center for Preventive Law’s Aspect of Practice Leader for start-ups and small businesses.
